- Southern Rust Confirmed in Southern Nebraska; (and Other Corn Diseases).Southern rust has been confirmed in several counties in south central and southeast Nebraska. Disease incidence was low in these fields; however, warm temperatures and high humidity may promote development and spread of the disease. Scouting is recommended.
