Average yield is forecast at 39 bushels per acre, up seven bushels from 2022. Area to be harvested for grain is estimated at 850,000 acres, up 4% from a year ago.

Oatproduction is forecast at 1.13 million bushels, up 23% from last year. Average yield is forecast at 45 bushels per acre, down 6 bushels from 2022. Area to be harvested for grain is estimated at 25,000 acres, up 39% from a year ago.
